Highly Rated Secondary Maths Tuition in Singapore (Online Option Available)
Transitioning from Primary to Secondary Mathematics is challenging, as the concepts taught become more complex and require extensive critical thinking skills to understand.
That’s why Secondary Mathematics tuition can be helpful. At Miracle Math, students can work with experienced Secondary Math tutors who can assist them in overcoming common obstacles and achieving their academic goals.
Miracle Math is a convenient option for those living in the East as we offer Secondary Math tuition in Bedok. Alternatively, we also provide our tuition online for students who are living further away.
How Can We Help?
1. Comprehensive Curriculum Coverage
When it comes to Secondary school Math, building a strong foundation is crucial. Concepts taught in the earlier years are built upon; it is essential to grasp earlier topics to understand the next ones fully.
However, we understand that it may be hard to keep up with the syllabus due to the significant increase in volume of topics.
Miracle Math’s Secondary Maths tuition programme covers a comprehensive range of topics, including algebra, data analysis, and geometry. We aim not just to teach all subject matters but also to instil critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

It is common to see students attend tuition classes only in their final year as they prepare for their O Levels. However, we recommend that students start early and attend our Sec 1 or Sec 2 Maths tuition. Doing so makes it easier for them to keep up with the syllabus and excel in Sec 3 or Sec 4 Maths tuition.
2. Personalised Learning
Traditional school teachers can rarely accommodate individual learning styles and abilities due to large class sizes.
Our Secondary Maths tuition classes are much smaller, with 8 to 9 pupils per class. This allows our dedicated Secondary Math tutor(s) to interact more with students and provide one-on-one support, addressing their individual queries and identifying and rectifying areas of difficulties.
Our teaching speed is also customised to the learning pace of our students. Practices and mock exam papers are customised depending on the individual classes.
3. Consistent Learning
At Miracle Math, Secondary Mathematics tuition emphasises consistent learning. Last-minute crash courses and studying are rarely effective because Secondary Math requires critical thinking skills instead of memorisation.
Weekly tuition classes ensure that students practise their problem-solving skills regularly and thus effectively boost their abilities and confidence in math.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I Go for Onsite or Online Secondary Math Tuition?
Your choice depends entirely on your learning style and needs.
If you are an independent learner who prioritises flexibility and convenience, consider attending online classes. Online students can interact with tutors and the rest of the class via the chat or microphone function. However, they will have fewer opportunities to receive personalised feedback as their working will not be checked, and timed assessments will not be marked.
On the other hand, tutors can go around to check an onsite student’s working and mark their timed assessments. As such, onsite classes are recommended for students who thrive with closer guidance.
Students may switch between onsite and online tuition at the end of each term.
How Are Tuition Classes For Secondary Maths Conducted?
Each secondary maths tuition lesson consists of 3 parts:
- Concept teaching.
- Doing what has been taught on the spot.
- Homework (which the tutor will go through in the next lesson).
Additionally, students will revise and try out practice papers during test or exam periods.
If students have any questions about the subject (even for topics yet to be covered in tuition classes), they can ask their tutor before, during, or after the lesson.
Does Miracle Math Provide Trial Lessons For Secondary Math?
Yes! However, do note that trial lessons are more expensive than regular lessons. It is the same lesson as our regular students but with no registration/materials fee. Furthermore, it is subject to availability and may be cancelled on short notice if the math class is fully booked. Seats are limited; first come first served. We recommend attending the regular lesson instead of the trial lesson to confirm the seat.
Are There Fixed Teachers?
The secondary math tutor in charge of each class is usually fixed. However, it may change occasionally without notice due to business requirements.
All our tutors are highly qualified and are registered and approved by MOE. Moreover, they are capable of helping students improve two grades or more. For more information about our tutors’ profiles, visit our About page.
What Resources Does Miracle Math Provide for Secondary School Students?
Students attending regular lessons will have access to the digital library (access is granted by the period signed up for), which includes full length recorded lessons and consolidated materials with the teacher’s digital notes, listed by date and topic.
Students are also welcome to purchase digital access to videos prior to joining the tuition. For example, new students who join a Sec 4 maths tuition class can purchase access for Sec 3 maths tuition digital library.
